A Day in the Life

In which I offer evidence that I don't just watch t.v. all day...

Do I look a little cranky? I don't mean to. It's just that it being spring in rural Nova Scotia, the air smells a bit... smelly. Oh, the joys of liquid fertilizer.

Molly, sunbathing.

Shorty, despite several attempted escapes in the past week, remains firmly ensconced inside. Much to his disdain.
jail bird. er, cat.

Unexpected discovery in the pantry cupboard.

Please ignore the fact that this is neither Ivy nor Clessidra (both of which require more attention than I have to offer today. Simple socks are soothing).

I'm a bit short on words today. More on flickr.

Have a good evening.

hate to nitpick, but i think the first 'too' should be a 'to'?
didn't want to do that but it's burning a hole in my brain.

on to bigger and better things,
nice photos. i particularly enjoy the one of the mini-egg, and your lunch.. it looks delicious.

is 'On Being Photographed' an essay of Rushdie's or an entire book?

Ack. You're right. I will fix it immediately (I'm horrible at proofreading my own stuff)...
'On Being Photographed' is a short essay from the book Step Acoss This Line: Collected Nonfiction 1992-2002. The essay talks mainly about his experiences being photographed for publicity shots and magazines, but he makes some interesting points. I really like Rushdie, and have been skimming through this book for a few days.

love these photos - a deliciously sensual account of your time spent 'sans télé'. mmmmm...lunch.
