my I don't have to run day
Last week was stressful and exhausting and am I ever glad that it's over. Today I had a mini-glad-I-survived-in-one-piece-celebration, just me and the animals.
My recipe for relaxing-don't-think-about-the-bad-stuff-day (substitute where necessary to create your own head in the sand day):
-- Good music turned up to 11. The music is a must, although listening to JP might run you the risk of feeling a little bit homesick. Switch to something equally good and upbeat if necessary. Sing loudly and unabashedly (even if the dog looks at you like you're crazy. It's okay, you probably are).
-- Baking. Preferably chocolate. If you don't like chocolate, well, you just shouldn't be reading this.
-- Good food. See previous item. Spiced chocolate muffins = happier me.
-- Good company (optional).
Molly was up for a shindig

Shorty wasn't so much
Repeat as needed. Don't think about the long list of things that need to be done, about what you could or should be doing. A little wine or a good beer might not hurt, either (that's my plan for later). I also plan on a little knitting, reading, and a guilty pleasure.

Meg your photos get better and better every time you post! What program do you use for your photo editing - like your banner?
See you on the weekend!
Kim
Thanks, Kim. I stumble my way through PhotoShop for photo editing, with much help and direction from Matt. I'm still not entirely happy with my tenuous grasp of putting text in.
