throwing a sickie
(I clearly watch too much Coronation Street. The drama, the intrigue, and the fantastic phrases.)
I had a thoughtful post planned, reflecting on my first week of Project 365 and how I feel about it, but this week just wiped me out between long hours at work and coming down with yet another cold. So, instead I'm going to say hi and bye all at once, grab my knitting and some tea and go watch some football (yes, football. It's not college ball, but I feel some strange pull to watch. Go figure).
If you're interested in how things are going with 365, you can check this out. Next time I'll talk a bit about the ups and downs of the daily picture taking and my love/hate relationship with my camera. As an aside, one of my issues with my camera on the one hand and 365 on the other has been getting good light in the dead of winter. This afternoon my mom and I went for a walk on the beach, hoping to spot some of the seals that had been out on the ice floes. We didn't see any seals, but I got some lovely photos. The light at the beach on a sunny winter day can't be beat. Being able to shoot at ISO 50 in February is a glorious thing.
