Sunday, in a list
Because I've spent the morning making lists (helping to quiet my brain) and because I've been trying to kick out a post for ages, here's my random list for a sunny, and dare I say it, spring Sunday afternoon:
-- surprising myself by how much I've come to love this show.
-- listening to the JUNO Songwriters' Circle on CBC radio and discovering some great new to me Canadian talent (and listening to one of my CBC boyfriends).
-- thinking about cutting off all of my hair. Something like this perhaps. Still just thinking, though, and won't chop it off till after Michelle's wedding in June. I'll also need to find someone around here that I trust to keep cutting it as my hair needs to be cut every few weeks when it's short. Oy. I'll probably change my mind a million times
-- daydreaming about the very, very remote possibility of a summer trip (and then thinking about all the more responsible ways that I could spend my money).
-- knitting, knitting, and more knitting.
-- thinking about reading this book.
-- still plodding along with project 365, although I've been feeling uninspired lately.
-- hoping that as spring slowly emerges I'll find some energy and creativity and start showing up in this space a bit more.
That's I'll I've got for now.
Hope spring has found you wherever you are.
Enjoy what's left of your weekend.

Looks as though your Spring mantra is working! The weather is slowly coming around.
I highly recommend trip planning as a means of boosting motivation and morale. I'm working on arrangements for a couple of trips at the moment. Having something to look forward to lifts my spirits when energy takes a nose dive. I fully admit that on the surface trips are not a terribly responsible way to spend money that I still don't have (yet). But the challenge of making it happen drives me forward to get unstuck in so many ways. The promise of a break and change of scenery gets the creative juices flowing and inspires action.
...maybe I shouldn't have opened my mouth. I'm thinking about all the great pictures you could take in Paris! (Call me selfish.)
Meg,
I think it's working - your Spring chanting :)
The 3+ feet of snow in our yard is all but a memory now and the crocus's (croci?) are starting to show their little heads.....spring may be finally here
