are you sure it's not october?
it's been mild here. milder than i'm used to for late november, which is leading me to forget that christmas is not far away and that i still have a lot of knitting to do. i think that i'm going to be in for a big shock when i go back to nova scotia next month.
i'm also not used to the fact that there is a thanksgiving this week. i understand the history , but for me, thanksgiving belongs in october. i'm more than a little perturbed by the holiday frenzy created by some of the biggest american retailers. the commercials say merry christmas and it's not even thanksgiving here. agh. i mean, i really like christmas, but this is a bit much.
i'm trying to do a million things at once and nothing is really getting finished. m's birthday socks still aren't done (almost, but not quite). i've got a few ideas for christmas presents, but nothing started. i'm also planning knitting for two babies(one past due* and one due on new year's eve), but nothing's completed yet. after a work meeting today i'm feeling better about work, though, and i'm hoping it will spill over into everything else.
more soon.
*hang in there michelle.
